Unfortunately, some scammers have used Penmac’s name in text messages or even calling over the phone. Their goal: to steal your personal information or trick you into sending money.

While applying for legal employment does involve sharing personal information, at Penmac, we will not ask for sensitive personal information over text. Our staffing specialists do not communicate via WhatsApp, and have official email accounts that end in @penmac.com or @penmaceducation.com. Our branch phone numbers and text lines always reach the branch when you call back. We will never insist you communicate only via messages.

How you can protect yourself:

Verify the phone number: All Penmac Branch locations and phone numbers are listed on our website at www.penmac.com/locations

If you call any of our phone numbers and reach an unidentifiable voicemail, we recommend you do not communicate with that number.

Verify the domain: We will never email you from an email that does not end with @penmac.com or @penmaceducation.com.

Never Pay for a Job: At Penmac, we never charge a fee for job placement. When applicable, fees for drug screens are payroll-deducted from your first check. We will never solicit online payment from you over text or email.
