Our Locations

We are currently hiring substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and other positions for these districts in southwest Missouri: Clever, Conway (Laclede County), Glenwood (West Plains), Houston, Lebanon, Logan Rogersville, Neosho, Republic, Springfield, Troy (Lincoln County), Waynesville, and Willard, Wright City, and Warrenton but we will be expanding to more districts! Benefits for Substitutes

Full-time substitute teachers are eligible for Penmac's health and retirement benefits. Health coverage is compliant with Affordable Care Act requirements. Retirement options include a 401(k) savings plan after one year of service. 

Requirements

A Missouri Substitute Certificate is required. Requirements for the certificate include 60 hours of college credit completed, and a background check. Some districts may have more stringent requirements. All Penmac substitutes will be carefully screened and matched with the assignments that best fit their schedule and interest areas. 

Frontline Absence Management

Penmac Education Staffing uses Frontline Absence Management (formerly known as Aesop). This online interface allows you to easily specify days you're available to work, set preferences for your assignments, and it improves communication with classroom teachers through our online portal.
